Polyboard Design

Job Overview:

During a four-month industrial design internship with PolyBoard Design, I supported the development and production of commercial outdoor furniture manufactured from HDPE. Working closely with designers, engineers, and production staff, I created and refined CAD models, generated manufacturing-ready files, developed assembly documentation, and assisted with product development projects from concept through production. The role strengthened my understanding of design for manufacturing, material-driven design, CNC fabrication, and scalable production processes while providing hands-on experience translating design intent into practical, manufacturable solutions.
